Top notes are Bergamot and Pear; middle notes are Peach, Coriander, Lavender and Petitgrain; base notes are Cedar and Vanilla. The inspiration for Asklöv's Vid Poolen (Swedish for by the side of the pool) came to the perfumer, Aude Brenier-Asklöv some years ago whilst holidaying in the South of France. Fresh from the swimming pool with water dripping onto the hot stones the air was full of the aroma of the surrounding sun-drenched lavender. Bees buzzed, busying themselves, flitting from a fruit tree, weighed down by abundant nectar.
